Clans and their crest

Create a clan or join one by application, invitation or invite code, how clan life works day to day, and the crest that will tell your clan's rank at a glance.

The essentials
  • Join by application, invite or code
  • A chief, roles, a message of the day
  • The evolving crest arrives as clans climb

Every Kickdom match is a duel. No one carries a whole season alone. A clan is the locker room: the same players showing up match after match, one shared name, one shared badge, and soon a crest that will tell the group's story. Here is what exists today, what is on the way, and how to find your crew.

A clan is your locker room

On the pitch, it is you against one opponent. The locker room is everything else. A clan gathers players who come back match after match under one name and one badge. You arrive with your wins, you return after your losses, and over time you learn how everyone plays. That is what turns a queue of opponents into a season with a story.

Each clan sets its own identity: a name, a description, a badge, settings that fit its style. Some stay small and keep it between friends. Others recruit wide. The idea never changes: you play better when you know who you play for.

Three ways in

Want a locker room of your own? Create your clan. Name it, write its description, adjust its settings, pick its badge. Then open the door.

Rather join one that already exists? Three roads lead in.

  • Apply. You spot an open clan and send your application. The clan accepts it, or turns it down.
  • Get invited. A clan spots you first and sends an invitation. Your call.
  • Use an invite code. A member shares their code, you join with it. The fastest road when your friends already have a clan.

Every clan decides how its door works: open to applications, or invitation only. An invitation-only clan does not read applications: you will need a member's invitation, or their code.

Life inside the clan

The leader sets the tempo. They publish the message of the day and the announcements, and the whole clan sees both: the word for the day on one side, the news that matters on the other. A locker room without a word on the wall is just an empty room; the message of the day takes care of that.

The leader also keeps the member list in order. They accept applications, change roles, and remove players when it comes to that. Roles mark out each member's place in the room. And leadership is not a crown for life: the role can pass to another member when the time is right.

The clan keeps its own settings in hand: its description, its door policy. A locker room works when someone holds the door and everyone knows the house rules.

Today's badge, and the crest on its way

Today, your clan is known by its badge, picked from a collection of icons. Simple, readable, instant: it is the clan's signature on every screen. Every clan picks its own, and that alone sets two clans apart when they cross paths.

Next comes the crest. The direction is set. Each clan will carry a shield, and the silhouette of that shield will never change: it is the landmark, the shape you recognize from far away. Everything else will say something.

The material will tell the rank. The first ranks will wear stitched canvas, then leather. The metals will follow: bronze, steel, silver, gold. At the very top, platinum, then crystal. A crystal shield will be impossible to mistake for anything else. Everywhere the clan shows up, the shield will speak for it.

The field, the inside of the shield, will belong to the clan. Patterns of its choice: stripes, chevrons, quarters. Colors of its choice too. In the center, the clan will place its own logo. And climbing will unlock accessories: stars, a gem, a crown, wings, flames.

One sentence holds the whole idea: the material tells the level, the field tells the identity. You will read a high-rank clan at a glance, and two clans at the same rank will never look alike. The crest will do for your clan what leagues do for you: announce the level before kickoff.

What's coming

The locker room is growing. In the works: clan chat, donations between members, clan wars, clan competitions, and clan perks. No dates on this page, on purpose. What this guide describes in the present tense exists today; the rest is written in the future tense, because that is where it still lives.

What to remember

  • A clan can be created, named and personalized today: description, settings, badge.
  • Three ways in: an application, an invitation, an invite code.
  • The leader publishes the message of the day and the announcements, keeps the member list in order, and can pass the role on.
  • The crest will tell your clan's story: material for rank, field for identity, the logo in the center, accessories as you climb.

The locker room door is open. Create your clan or find the one that fits, and bring a roster worth the shirt: the players guide will help. For the full picture, head back to the guide.
